Ares came to BRI as an owner surrender after his owner had a stroke. The owner’s family
came from out of state to take the owner home with them and abandoned Ares with a neighbor.
Ares is neutered, crate trained, potty trained and does well on a leash. He enjoys his toys, but really
loves his people. He plays well with all dogs of all sizes. We do not have any experience with him with
kids or cats. Ares can be lazy or active. He’s active when you want him to be and relaxes or sleeps
when it’s time to settle down. He is super sweet and loving.
Ares has good recall, sits on command and loves to shake paws. Ares does well with regular grooming
and enjoys his massages. He can go to a home with or without a fenced in yard. Ares enjoys going on
walks – he is an all-around good dog and would do well in any type of home. He came from a senior
citizen home and did well and has done great in his foster's active home.

We require a donation ranging from $100 to $600 for each adoption. The donation is based on
the age and health of the dog being adopted as well as its level of training. 100% of donations
are directed to the veterinary expenses of the dogs in our care.
Ares is being fostered in Maryland; however, don’t let location be a barrier, BRI can arrange
transport to many states east of the Mississippi!
