BUCK
Hey, I’m Buck and I’m looking for a long-term relationship. In rescue dog language, that’s a forever home. Do you have an empty spot in your life? Maybe need something to give you some comfort after a long, hard day? Well, I’m the one for you.
For the ladies out there, I love to cuddle, I’ll keep your feet warm, I won’t snore (too much anyway) and I will eat whatever you set in front of me and always be thankful. I’d even help you with the dishes if you want me to pre-clean them but I can’t load the dishwasher since I don’t have thumbs. Truth be told, I can’t tell you I won’t pass some gas from time-to-time but I won’t ever give you a Dutch oven!
For the guys looking for a pal to hang with, let me tell ya’ I’ll sit quietly on the couch next to you watching whatever sports you want. All day long if you want! Yah, the chicks might say we are cuddling but us dudes know it is just hanging out. Or maybe we just chill with a cold beer for you and a cold bowl of water and a bone for me. I’d be up for playing some ball and I love going for rides. If you are looking for a buddy to hang out with, I won’t complain if you left your dirty clothes on the floor – in fact I might lay on top of them.
As for the kiddies, I love running and playing with kids. Most kids think I’m a funny, silly guy.
Sadly, my previous relationship wasn’t the best. Once I got to be the big, handsome fella you see I was banished to the yard because I was suddenly too big. Dogs shouldn’t live outside. It isn’t right, ya know? Anyway, I was rescued from that relationship but because they didn’t teach me how to behave with other dogs, I’m scared of other dogs and don’t like to live with them. I think cats are fun to chase so my foster mom says I can't live with cats. I’m a one dog family kind of guy. But I’ll give you more unconditional love that you could ever want.
If you think we have what it takes to be in a forever relationship, I’d love to hear from you.
Buck is currently fostered in Michigan but don’t let distance deter you from completing an adoption application if you are interested. We will transport to an approved home. The first step of the process is to fill out the adoption application and submit it. Our adoption application can be found above under the "Forms to Download" section. My adoption fee is $350.00
