Her Idea of a Great Day: Lets start the day with a good breakfast. That always starts my day off right. Then, we could take a walk. I am good on a leash but could still use some work to stay calm. I also love to run and play! Having my own fenced in yard would be great.
The First Thing People Notice About Me: I am sweet and spicy just like chutney. I am not quite sure what that is but I hear it's good...just like me!
My Perfect Match: My perfect match is a family or a single person looking to share their love. I enjoy children, but I am too rambunctious for toddlers. I get along with my large male mastiff foster brother, but I don't do well with little dogs. I am really not much of a cat person...er...dog.
In Her Own Words: Hi, I am Chutney! I a female Bullmastiff looking for my forever home. Somehow I ended up in a shelter?! Not a place I would recommend! Thankfully, BRI rescued me and found me a foster home. My foster parents learned I am very good in the house. I am crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I am fairly mellow in the house, but I LOVE to run and play. I will need a fenced in yard so I have space to break out my play moves. I am good on a leash too, but sometimes, I get excited. I mean who can blame a girl...all those great smells?! Anyway, my foster parents think I could use some training to be a bit more calm on the leash; I am eager to please and a quick learner. Right now I live with a large male mastiff and we get along like chutney and crackers....get it...a good combination. Now, when it comes to little dogs, not so much. I don't really like little dogs, and I am not really to fond of cats either. If your family would like to provide me with the home I deserve, please complete an application. Right now I am spending the holidays in Illinois, but I can travel to be with my new family. If I am the Bullmastiff for you, BRI will arrange my transport!
