Meet Frida, the Friendly Love Bug!
A Little About Frida:
Meet Frida! Frida was found on the streets of Detroit and fortunately BRI was contacted. Frida is a young female – estimated to be about 2 years old. We believe that she is actually a young English Mastiff instead of a Bullmastiff, but who could resist that smile? Certainly not us! When our volunteers evaluated and transported her from the shelter to her foster home, all they could say was that she was an amazing dog, she is wonderful, she is a love bug. These accolades have only continued as she wormed her way into the hearts of her foster family.
Personality and Preferences:
Frida plays and interacts well with other dogs and is particularly fond of a male Bernese in her foster home. They are often found running and rolling each other over during play time. We do not know how she would do with cats. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped.
If your family would like to provide Frida with the home she deserves, please click on the "Adopt Me" button above and complete the adoption application. You can complete an online version or download the application in Word.
We require a donation ranging from $100 to $600 for each adoption. The donation is based on the age and health of the dog being adopted as well as its level of training. 100% of donations are directed to the veterinary expenses of the dogs in our care.
Frida is being fostered in Pennsylvania; however, don’t let location be a barrier, BRI can arrange transport to many states east of the Mississippi!
