Meet Gia: Athlete Extraordinaire!
A Little About Gia:
Gia was surrendered to use by a woman who didn’t want her simply because she had belonged to her ex-boyfriend and when he left, he left Gia behind. Gia wasn’t wanted by this woman and she dumped her in a pen in the backyard. Gia went from living in a house and being a loved member of the family (at least loved by some) to living a life in a pen away from the only family
she has ever known. The cruelty of this is beyond comprehension. Anyway, we have her now and she is ready for someone to really love her and never abandon her again.
Personality and Preferences:
Gia is very sweet tempered, wants to be with her people, loves to play, can entertain herself with her toys. She is housebroken and alerts when she needs to go out, very smart and knows basic commands. She loves going for car rides!
Gia is very athletic and loves to burn off energy in her yard or on long walks or even go jogging. She would be a perfect candidate for agility competition if her adopter was inclined. We want a fenced yard for her so she can run and play to her hearts content. Though she is higher energy, she settles down nicely once given the opportunity to play and exercise. She has a moderate
prey drive so a home without cats would be wise.
Gia is 2 years old. She is spayed, HW negative and up-to-date on vaccinations.
If your family would like to provide Luna with the home she deserves, click on the "Adopt Me" button above and complete the adoption application. You can complete an online version or download the application in Word.
We require a donation ranging from $100 to $600 for each adoption. The donation is based on the age and health of the dog being adopted as well as its level of training. 100% of donations are directed to the veterinary expenses of the dogs in our care.
Gia is being fostered in the Great Lakes region; however, don’t let location be a barrier, BRI can arrange transport to many states east of the Mississippi!
