Lily is ready for her forever home. She is a very sweet dog with a very soft temperament. Lily loves to cuddle on the couch and wants to be as close as possible to you. She is low energy, just has an occasional zoomie around the yard and then is ready to chill and watch TV. She gets along very well with the resident male bullmastiff and enjoys running and playing in the yard with him. She can frighten easily if the other dog plays too rough with her and she will flatten out or run and hide.
Lily is a vet tech favorite. They all rave about how sweet and gentle she was when she visits and she had to run the gauntlet of several of them getting in one last petting before her foster mom could leave the clinic with her.
Lily needs a fenced yard because she has a high prey drive and will chase squirrels or other small critters. Because of this, we won’t place her in a home with small animals. She has learned a lot of house manners but she will need more work on leash training.
Lily has been spayed and is up-to-date on her vaccinations.
If your family would like to provide Lily with the home she deserves, please complete the adoption application at http://www.bullmastiffrescuers.net. Lily is being fostered in Tennessee; however, don’t let location be a barrier, BRI can arrange transport to many states east of the Mississippi!
