Helga came from a shelter in NC in June 2023. We estimated her age at 8-9 years old and she was clearly in poor health. She has an inoperable malignant tumor attached to her colon and was given two months to live at best. Nobody told Helga that. She’s still doing well 15 months later, and has taken over the household – Queen Helga rules the universe, at least in her own eyes, and nobody is going to tell her she’s wrong!
