Hello there, my name is Jax, and I am looking for a place to call home. Thankfully, I was rescued after being found running the streets of Ohio with a terrible leg injury. I am all healed up and as handsome as ever...as you can see! I am about 18 or so months old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, crate trained, and great on the leash. My favorite type of day is spent playing outside, playing with my toys, walking with my foster mom, and laying in the sunshine. I am great with other dogs, I am a very good listener and treat motivated, I am smart with great focus, and very mellow when just hanging out in the house. My foster mom says I would benefit from a strong leader and a training program - she says I am SO smart, she believes I could be anything, even a therapy dog! Some things I am still working on is my house breaking and my tendency to chew when unsupervised, but I know I can overcome this. My dream home would be one with a fenced yard, another dog to play with, no small children under 13, and an attentive parent who could help me be the best I can be!
