Hello! My name is Ladybug and I’m looking for my forever home. I was running stray in Arkansas and some kind people captured and brought me to safety. I was extremely underweight and had a terrible infection called pyometra. The veterinarian said my body was fighting the infection and that may be why I was struggling to gain weight. But I’m doing so much better now. Most girls want to lose a few pounds but I want to gain a few! Aren’t I lucky?
You are probably wondering how well I behave. So here is the deal. I walk well on a leash but I do get excited when I see other dogs and my adopters will need to help me learn to control my enthusiasm. I am a chameleon when it comes to energy level. I can be as active and energetic as you are or I can lay around and chill if you are low energy. I get along well with other larger dogs but my foster mom says I shouldn’t live with small dogs or cats. I guess I have something called a prey drive and they tell me that’s not good for little critters.
I have behaved very well with the little human in my foster home. I enjoy tossing around my dog toys, and hanging out with my peeps and my canine foster siblings. They taught me to like my crate and use it for my sleeping spot. I will sometimes whine if I see you out and about while I’m crated but I understand sometimes you have to get things done around the house and I’ll chill out.
I am current on recommended vaccinations. The veterinarian thinks I am about 4 years old and she made sure I can’t have any puppies! Who needs that? Am I right?
Anywho, if your family would like to provide me with the home I deserves, please complete the adoption application at https://www.bullmastiffrescuers.net/forms.html
I am being fostered in Arkansas; however, don’t let location be a barrier, BRI can arrange transport to many states east of the Mississippi!
