LUCKY
Looking to “Get Lucky”?? If you are, BRI can help. We’ve got your man and he’s looking to get picked up. He’s 5 years of age, but has the spunk of a youngster so don’t let the number fool you. Handsome as you can see from the photos however, they don’t really do him justice. He’s a tall one for the breed and carries himself proud.
Lucky’s taken great care of himself since coming to our Bullmastiff Resort. If you picked him up he’d need no healthcare other than his flea/tick preventative, heart worm preventative, and of course nutritious meals.
Prior to his checking in with us, his luck hadn’t been so great. As happens often, he’d been picked up as a cute little pup and when he grew and slobbered, he was banished to the backyard. This is where he remained until a friend of the family helped him find BRI. Yep, we’d say he’s pretty Lucky.
You’re home would be Lucky to have him if you are looking for a wonderful companion. He is house trained, crate trained, and has learned his inside manners since being with his current foster mom. His training will need to be continued, in keeping him structured and praising him for good manners. He would be excellent in a basic obedience class if one wanted to participate with him.
Lucky would love running and playing with kids. He is a funny silly boy and quite entertaining. He prefers to be the only dog in the home, other dogs make him nervous and he tends to shy away from them. Since not being socialized at an early age he doesn’t know how to play with other dogs.
This beautiful sweet boy is currently fostered in Michigan but don’t let distance deter you from completing an adoption application if you are interested. We will transport to an approved home. Our adoption application can be found @ bullmastiffrescuers.org. First step of the process to “Get Lucky” is to fill out the adoption application and Submit It…We will then put you in contact with Lucky’s foster mom so she can fill you in on all his Fine Points.
