Meet Sweet Luna
Luna is ready for her forever home after a life in a puppy mill. Luna is a 4-year-old brindle bullmastiff and quite a big girl – weighing in at 120 lbs! She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is house trained and crate trained. She has been learning how to walk on a leash and going well – still needs some work on it though.
A Little About Luna:
Luna enjoys the company of another dog after the slow introduction process is complete. She gets along very well with the male bullmastiff in her foster home, however, a home without cats is needed for Luna. She has a low energy level and is the sweetest girl ever. Luna just wants to be near and loved on but also knows how to have her alone time. She sleeps quietly throughout the night and really doesn’t bark. She is an all-around lovely dog.
We require a fenced yard for Luna as she loves to be outside in the yard or on the deck soaking up the sun.
Luna loves to hoard toys and will occasionally pick up items on the floor to hoard. She generally doesn’t chew these up but is something that her adopter will need to work with her on.
Luna will make someone a perfect companion because she is so sweet and quiet.
Luna has had very limited interaction with small children while in foster care, but she was mellow and calm the few times she was around some. We think she would be fine with older kids.
If your family would like to provide Luna with the home she deserves, click on the "Adopt Me" button above and complete the adoption application. You can complete an online version or download the application in Word.
We require a donation ranging from $100 to $600 for each adoption. The donation is based on the age and health of the dog being adopted as well as its level of training. 100% of donations are directed to the veterinary expenses of the dogs in our care.
Luna is being fostered in the Great Lakes region; however, don’t let location be a barrier, BRI can arrange transport to many states east of the Mississippi!
