Meet Miss Daisy!
Well shut my mouth, if it ain’t Miss Daisy, our very own southern belle who is as sweet as sweet potato pie! (Admit it. You totally sang that last part, didn’t you?)
Daisy at a Glance
A Little More About Daisy
Like many Southern belles before her, Daisy has a heart as big as the magnolia trees growing in the backyards of Mississippi. She is full of Southern hospitality and loves to greet everyone she meets.
Our Miss Daisy needs a family where she can be the only belle of the ball and treated like the queenly treasure she is. Besides, who needs other dogs when you can have your very own Miss Daisy?
As for those pesky cats, she has no patience for their tom foolery and will need a home without cats.
“What about kids,” you ask? Ah, great question! Daisy was raised with children and loved following her little wards around to keep a watchful eye on them. She was gentle and patient with her young charges.
Like a true Southern lady, Daisy is sweet, yet independent. She is very affectionate, loves being with her people, and having a good snuggle. However, she is no simpering violet (she IS a Daisy after all!) After being with her people she enjoys having her own time in her big, comfy dog bed with an antler or two to chew.
Miss Daisy isn’t only pretty as a peach, she is also quite the intelligent debutante and knows basic obedience, is house-trained, crate-trained, and loose leash trained. And let’s not forget her impeccable manners!
Daisy is 4.5 years old, fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Unfortunately, like so many belles and gents coming from the south, Daisy came to us positive for heartworms. However, she has since completed all of her heartworm treatment and will be ready to be spayed soon.
If your family would like to provide this Southern sweetheart the home she deserves, please click on the "Adopt Me" button above and complete the adoption application. You can complete an online version or download the application in Word.
We require a donation ranging from $100 to $600 for each adoption. The donation is based on the age and health of the dog being adopted as well as its level of training. 100% of donations are directed to the veterinary expenses of the dogs in our care.
Daisy is being fostered in Missouri; however, don’t let location be a barrier, BRI can arrange transport to many states east of the Mississippi!
