My Foster Mom calls me Nellie Belly. I’m a 2 1/2 year old brindle “Pocket Bullmastiff”. I‘m vaccinated, spayed, and healthy following HW treatment. I only weigh 77 pounds but my big smile makes up for my small size. I have a lot of energy so I need a fenced yard I can zoom around. I’m excited to play with kids but knock the little ones over so it’s best that my forever family has kids over ten.
I just love my crate and sometimes my foster mom sleeps in late and doesn’t let me out until 9:00 a.m. No problem with me, I feel safe and cozy and just wait patiently. I never bark while in my crate, it’s my safe zone.
I’m 95% potty trained, once I understand where the door is. I haven’t learned to bark at the door yet so you need to notice I’m standing there. I don’t chew any of my toys up, I just carry them around. I’m learning not to take things off the coffee table and put them in my bed, but don’t leave the room with food on the table or counter – it’s mine! My foster Fur-Brother has a really cool toy basket, I spend all day taking things but I haven’t learned to put them all back in the basket. Magically they are all back in there in the morning so I can play again.
I’ve learned to walk nicely on lead, but need a martingale or choker collar because I will chase a bunny or a squirrel if I see one. I will do well with a friendly and tolerant MALE dog. My foster family lives next to a park and if I see a dog walk by I bark a few times to let them know I’m watching. I’m proud to let you know, I now have a perfect pooping routine, morning, afternoon and dinner. I just love breakfast and dinner, I run very fast to sit on the rug that I get fed on.
I sure hope I find my forever family; I just want to be loved. My foster family says I’m such a sweet girl and want to be by them all the time. My tax deductible adoption donation is $400.00
