Meet Rambo!
A Little About Rambo:
Rambo is a gorgeous 4-year-old male waiting for his forever home. A perfect day in Rambo’s life starts with a walk, breakfast, and chew time with his Nylabones or Bullysticks. Later, he would get a thrill out of a short training session with plenty of treats to reinforce his manners. He would love a brief tumble session with his favorite dog pals and then take a nice long nap. Rinse and repeat in the evenings before he falls asleep at your feet. That’s really all Rambo wants out of life – people to love him and reinforce his training.
Personality and Preferences:
Rambo didn’t grow up with a lot of structure and can be overly excitable. He loves to run and play with other dogs his size, but he plays rough and tumble so he needs to be matched with other dogs that can handle his play style. He will need his play time supervised for a bit until he has time to settle down. Training works great to focus his attention. He will do anything to hear “Good boy!” Rambo is house-trained, crate-trained, and travels well. He is very patient with nail trims, baths and veterinary exams.
Rambo is a phenomenal dog. Everyone who meets him just falls in love with this giant teddy bear, but he needs an experienced owner that understands bullmastiffs' natural guardian temperament. He needs a strong, consistent leader who continues to bring out his confident nature. He would do well with dog pals who are up for a good time and will be patient while he gets his zoomies out. Rambo is not a good fit for homes with small children or small dogs. If drool is an issue for you, Rambo isn't your dog.
Rambo is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative and microchipped.
If your family would like to provide Rambo with the home he deserves, please click on the "Adopt Me" button above and complete the adoption application. You can complete an online version or download the application in Word.
We require a donation ranging from $100 to $600 for each adoption. The donation is based on the age and health of the dog being adopted as well as its level of training. 100% of donations are directed to the veterinary expenses of the dogs in our care.
Rambo is being fostered in Pennsylvania; however, don’t let location be a barrier, BRI can arrange transport to many states east of the Mississippi!
