Roxy is a sweet old gal (she is about 7 years old) looking for her forever home. Her previous
family, if you can call them that, dumped her at a shelter because they were moving. How
someone could dump a sweet old girl like Roxy is beyond comprehension but their loss is your
gain. Roxy is one of the most loving, affectionate dogs we’ve ever met. She has a mild energy
level – can romp and play with resident dogs and toss toys around but calms easily after play
time. Thoroughly loves other dogs and adores the teenage boys in her foster home. We think
she would do well with young kids also. She has excellent house manner – doesn’t beg, doesn’t
go bonkers when doorbell rings, will go lay down when told, etc. as well as excellent leash
manners.

Roxy’s idea day would be doing anything that involves interacting with her family – car rides,
walks, or just lounging on the couch – it doesn’t matter to her as long as she is with you and part
of your family circle. She will paw at you to make sure you know you haven’t petted her enough!

We require a donation ranging from $100 to $500 for each adoption. The donation is based on
the age and health of the dog being adopted as well as its level of training. 100% of donations
are directed to the veterinary expenses of the dogs in our care.

Roxy is being fostered in Memphis area; however, don’t let location be a barrier, BRI can
arrange transport to many states east of the Mississippi!
