Meet sweet 4 year old boerboel Sophie! She is the most cuddly, loving and gentle girl you could meet. She is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, crate trained, housebroken, and heartworm negative. She's very well behaved in the house, and won't touch a thing on your tables or get into stuff that isn't hers. She is very respectful of your space, and will not jump. She will bark to let you know if someone is at the door and will settle down when she knows it’s a friend. She loves being in the fenced yard with you, and will play fetch and show off with her jolly ball. She does LOVE to play, and enjoys toys and bones. Sophie has a very high prey drive, so no cats, rabbits, or other critters or birds; but she would be happy with a large, relaxed male dog. She knows sit, shake, heel, and "Sophie come". She can be bathed, have her nails trimmed, etc. while sitting cooperatively. Sophie will melt your heart with her cuddles, butt wiggles, and eagerness to love you.
If your family would like to provide Sophie with the home she deserves, please complete the adoption application at http://www.bullmastiffrescuers.org. Her tax-deductible adoption fee is $400 and she is being fostered in Michigan. However, don’t let her location be a barrier. If you think she is the right dog for your family, BRI can arrange her transport! Sophie’s foster family is also willing to drive up to 4 hours for a “meet and greet” if you’d like to meet Sophie in person prior to adoption!
