Hi! My name is Charlie, and I am a 7 year old bullmastiff looking for a family to call my own. My foster mom says I am the sweetest dog she has EVER fostered! I spent my life being used as a stud dog (I am pretty handsome, if I do say so myself!) but thankfully, I was rescued about 2 months ago, and I’ve been enjoying the good life! I LOVE toys and bones, and I like to hoard them in my crate! I also love napping, hanging out with my foster family, taking a short walk, and running and playing in my yard. I am leash trained, house trained, crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. I am very well behaved, gentle, and sweet, but when I get excited - I tend to hump whoever is exciting me - but I promise I am working on this! I am eager to please and make you happy, so with some more training, I’m sure I can overcome this. I am also blind in one eye, but this doesn’t bother me or effect my loving personality. I am aware of my surroundings and I make the most of my good eye. I am dog friendly, (although my foster mom thinks I would do best with a female dog) and I don’t have a prey drive so cats or small animals would be ok for me to live with. I would love a fenced yard, a family with children over 12, and a cozy place to rest my head at night.
If your family would like to provide me with the home I deserve, please complete the adoption application at http://www.bullmastiffrescuers.org. My tax-deductible adoption fee is $150 and I am being fostered in Michigan. However, don’t let my location be a barrier. If you think I am the bullmastiff for your family, BRI can arrange my transport!
