Meet Kira, a beautiful Bullmastiff with a story that reminds us that every dog is an individual. Kira came to BRI in 2018 at just 2 years old after being rescued from a puppy mill. She is healthy, gorgeous, and truly has many of the qualities people hope for in a companion.

Kira’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. Despite years of patience, training, and trying every solution we could think of, she has continued to struggle with housetraining. There are no medical reasons for it, and while there have been some improvements, she still needs a very special home environment.

Thankfully, Kira has an amazing foster mom who loves her exactly as she is. She provides Kira with a safe, happy life filled with love, understanding, and (of course) plenty of paper towels and cleaning supplies! Kira is proof that every dog deserves someone who sees their worth and loves them for who they are.
