Matilda was found on the side of the road after being hit by a car, suffering from severe injuries and facing a very uncertain future. One of her hind legs was badly damaged, and her recovery was far from guaranteed. But her gentle, loving nature made it impossible to give up on her.

With the dedication of her veterinary team and the incredible care of her foster family, Matilda has defied the odds. Her recovery has been a slow and steady journey filled with physical therapy, laser treatments, and lots of love. She may move at her own pace, but nothing seems to dim her happiness.

Today, Matilda enjoys her new life, soaking up sunshine, relaxing with her favorite bones, and savoring special treats like chicken jerky, collagen rolls, and pumpkin biscuits. Her positive attitude is inspiring, and she reminds everyone she meets that a little determination and a lot of love can go a long way.
