Meet Otis, a senior gentleman who proves that age is just a number! When BRI rescued him from a shelter in Michigan in 2022, we thought he was already quite ancient. A couple of years later, he may be even more distinguished, but you’d never know it from his attitude. Otis wakes up every day ready to enjoy life and soak up all the love around him.

Otis has been the perfect foster boy (with only a couple of adventurous escapes and neighborhood romps to keep everyone on their toes!). He loves being with his people, going for car rides, taking leisurely walks, and finding the perfect spot for a good snooze—whether that’s the deck, the sofa, or the bed.

This sweet old guy still gets the occasional burst of energy and may surprise you with a backyard dash or a few zoomies before deciding it’s time to rest and recharge. He loves his snacks (especially the good stuff—please don’t mention the carrots and bananas!), enjoys his favorite stuffed duckies, bones, and elk antlers, and has never met a comfy spot or a loving person he didn’t like.

Otis is a reminder that senior dogs still have so much love, personality, and joy to give. He’s living life on his own schedule: a little exploring, a lot of relaxing, plenty of treats, and endless appreciation for the people who love him.
